All the pop up ads on this site

Hey all it's been a while since I've been on this site, is it just my browser on my iPhone that there are so many pop-up ads that it's almost impossible to read any of the posts? Any way to stop this thanks for any info

I have Google set for Automatic ads, which is supposed to be "non invasive". I will check about turning them down.

The Brave Browser is excellent at removing ads from virtually everything with no plug-ins.

I use it all the time.

Chrome has many ad blockers. We are planning on setting up a merch store for our 30th anniversary, so I would stop the Google ads. Because of the AI summaries, the advertisers are paying less anyway.

Duck Duck Go browser is also great at blocking ads.

I zapped the Automatic Google ad part and removed quite a bit of intrusive ads. Any one noticing anything different?

I use Duck Duck go and don't see quite as much as Chrome /Google

There seems to be less I do use DDC via safari on this device…
my phone might be different but I don’t browse much on there.
I’ll Have to do a side by side comparison… see which nets more ads if/any…

iPhone is single column mess lots of adds, definitely need some settings changed.

iPad and PC are smooth… ( very few adds no pop ups)

Thanks for the info when is the 30th anniversary BTW? I would love to come down I think it's probably in February?
