Benta or Mayfield with a child?

    Hello,
I am bringing my granddaughter (8) in November, and we are looking at either Benta or Mayfield Falls as we want to stay relatively close to Negril for this trip. Which is better for a child?
    Thank you!

    Kath,

I haven't been to Benta, but have been to Mayfield Falls many times.

    Mayfield has changing rooms.

    Bring water shoes.

Before I go, I always ask around as to what the water level is at Mayfield Falls.
If the water level is too high, it can be challenging for an adult.

Depending on the water level, I don't see a problem with an eight year old child. The guides are very helpful with anyone needing assistance.

    Enjoy,

    VVHT aka Happy
