had a friend we see on instagram wearing orange along with at least hundreds of Jamaicans.any idea of what the reason is ?

Orange is generally associated with the People's National Party - PNP.

Green is generally associated with the Jamaican Labour Party - JLP.

Some locals tell me that you don't wear these colors every day as someone may object to your party affiliation. Usually they are worn at Political functions.
