I was supposed to be there right now..why did I cancel? I trust those beers are ice cold Rob.
This scene reminds me of a day many years ago. In the middle of the day my wife and her friend were out in the water with other tourists and I was in the back of "Pete's" having an "ice cold" Red Stripe and spliff and passing small talk with a young Jamaican guy. He asked me why I wasn't having fun out in the water with my wife. I asked him "Tell me. Where are all the Jamaicans right now?" He slowly looked all around and a grin came over his face as he realized the answer. All the Jamaicans had come up off the beach and were lounging in the shade all around us. He started laughing and pointed at me. "Mon, you are 'Jamerican'! I'm very fair and cannot tan but I can burn in about 10 minutes. My goal has always been to make friends, have a great time and leave as pale as when I arrived.
