New Airport

Read that the Jamaican Goverment is finalizing plans for a new international airport in Little London. Thats a 20 minute drive from Negril. That would change everything. Am I just hallucinating or is this true?

I've been coming toNegril since the 80s and the one thing that i liked was no air traffic noise. that will end with an airport in Little London.

It's still defined as a 'proposed' project. A lot of political promise at this point.
On the ground...many love the idea of having an international airport but most are questioning the infrastructure etc. of Negril and surrounding areas. They're asking for that to be addressed first.
