Samaritan’s Purse continues serving families in need across Jamaica as they walk the long road to recovery after Hurricane Melissa devastated the island.
So far, our doctors and nurses have treated hundreds of patients through both our Emergency Field Hospital and Mobile Medical Units reaching the hardest-hit, most remote communities.
️ Other members of our Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) are also hard at work—distributing nearly 10,000 tarps, 1,600 household water filters, 6,000 solar lights, and 970 hygiene kits, with more relief on the way.
Though the storm has passed, the needs remain great. Please continue to pray for families in Jamaica—and learn more about how you can help at SamaritansPurse.org.
