    ATM situation/changes in price

    Hi again everyone.

We're heading back to Negril next week, and wanted to see how the ATM situation is post-hurricane. Are ATMs lower on cash than typical or anything? We most use the one near the Hi-Lo shopping center close to Negril Treehouse and take out JA$ as opposed US dollars.

In addition, how much more than usual should we expect to pay for things? Like should we expect to pay some like 10% more than usual? For context, I was in Negril 2 months ago (a week and a half before the hurricane) and we typically eat at some places on the beach, but a lot of the roadside ital food and other local spots across the road from the beach, and similar cliffside. We totally expect that things are more expensive considering supply issues, etc, but just want to have an idea as we do some final planning.

    Thanks everyone!

ATM s were a bit tough . The scotia atm in Times Square worked for me a couple times then out of order
    Others had pretty long lines

I was at the Boardwalk village atm inside the bank and I took out 50,000 J and there was just one person in front of me at about 8:30 am last week. The lines seem to be way less there than Scotia Bank. Some places have raised their prices 10-20% at certain restaurants and others are same or a slight increase.

Thank you for the responses! We typically head to Hi-Lo early in the day to avoid the lines, so hope that will work this trip, but glad to have some back up plans!
