    December on the cliffs?

Hello everyone - respect and bless up. I'm coming back to Jamaica, land I love, in December 2026. I'm looking at Catcha Falling Star. I am wondering how busy the west end and cliffs get during December. I've only been to Jamaica February, March and once in September but never in December. I am hoping for any and all information you boardies can provide. Thank you for what you know.
    Hope M.

I can’t answer for the cliffs, but starting Dec. 26th the beach starts getting busy. I’ve been going to beach hotels for the Christmas holidays since 2012. Last year we added an extra week & arrived December 15th. It was great (no crowds) until the day after Christmas. We stay until after the New Year.

We usually come down the 1st 2 weeks in December, staying @ Samsara ~ things are just getting underway for the holiday season.

Catcha is a good choice on the cliffs. We've stayed there two or three times. But since they added more rooms it's become a little crowded almost anytime. You might look a LTU Cliffs and Gardens. The bar and restaurant are on the cliffs and the rooms and pool are across the street in the beautiful gardens. It's become our go-to hang and even in December it feels laid back. New Years Eve is usually a big party. Locals who hang at the bar are also chill, no hassle. But if you ask they'll help you out. Check their web site.
