I fly out of Atlanta and have found AirTran to be cheaper than Delta. If you are not going until April, you have time to watch the flights for great sales. The flights do seem to be higher than past years but you can always find deals on Wednesdays with AirTran or Delta. I always waited until within eight weeks of a flight and found awesome deals as cheap as $350.00. You really have to pay close attention on a weekly basis. I plan to travel to Jamaica in March and I have not purchased a ticket yet. Good luck!
