Sprint wifi??

having Sprint I never had the guts to turn on just wifi in Jamaica..........
because of the costly mistake of using the data services out of the country..........

but depending on the kind of phone........you go to settings and then connections......
or just connections.......and hit wifi......
on mi Sprint phone if I hit Internet Explorer it automatically starts the data services/power vision line which is a no no out of the country especially in Jamaica.....
but what do I know.......mi not the most savy techie on here........lol
but you have to be careful........mi have heard of people getting bills for over a $1,000 when they mess up using the internet in a foreign country using Sprint......
so it could make that reach your most expensive vacation ever using a Sprint phone in Jamaica........
best thing to do if you need to get on the internet......is bring your laptop/netbook or use one there.....
