Did you wrap your TV in something or just leave it in the box packaging it came in?
TV left in its original box. Duties officials at MBJ confirmed that TVs brought from US are duty-free if they are 40" or less and the cost is $400US or below. I did not confirm if this only applies if you check the box on your Welcome to Jamaica form that you have unaccompanied luggage, which I did, re barrels.
