~~ Sweetness Trip Report *NEW* - Last Night
...it was awesome to see the staff relaxed and enjoying themselves - they made me feel like family and provided me with exceptional service. Yetta, her husband and their friends came out on their scooters and it warmed my heart. Yetta you are such a bright light - thank you for coming and making my last night not sting so much (lol). My new friend Sharon (mentor, author, entrepreneur, philantropist, sister) came out and it was a gift to be in her presence a second time on my trip. Sweet Maxx from Easy Rock Internet Cafe made it out and seemed to enjoy the fish very much. Maxx is a great guy and I love Easy Rock. My sister needed my signature on a document for my father's estate and it was a breeze to stop there print it, sign it, scan it and email it back. Cheap and easy with Maxx's help. Bless you always my friend.
Hettie (heather) and Chad my new boardie friends came out and brought some delicious cabbage salad with a yummy scotch bonnet vinegarette -mmmm. They are a great couple and I enjoyed getting to know them.
Great moment when a couple came walking up I didnot recognize. I greeted them and they said they just checked in and were from Turkey. They were gorgeous, tired and starving from their long day of travel. Well it was a pleasure to invite them over for a feast and rum punch as their first JA experience. Good music, waves softly crashing, smells and laughter - they must have thanked me a hundred times and enjoyed themselves which of course made be so happy.
Family came out later and helped clean up. Exhausted but heart full - finally fell off for my last sleep of the visit. Slept so hard (lol).
...next up last morning and ride to Sangster that we all hate.
