SEASTAR just booked

Thanks to all the boardies raves about Seastar on this board. I just booked for a couple of nights to start my next stay in April. My very first night in Negril my wifey and I took in the Saturday night show. I wanted to visit on my last reach but it was closed while Chris was taking it to the next level. Any info on room 3 would be appreciated. All I know is it is upstairs and has a king bed. I have read some about room 5 and 7, but not much about 3. Any privacy on the balcony?

One night is the Saturday night show which was a major draw. I vividly remember a guy who was still in the pool at roughly 9PM and was down for the count. The staff had to escort him to his room. I can over do it at times, so I figure Seastar might be my place. I can get back on my own, but the chill environment sounds like where I want to be.

Catcha for the 3 nights after and the rest will be decided once I get in town. I look forward to seeing what kind of deal I can get done. Might hit the beach, but much prefer the West End.

I know Clarity and Hubbyman and Marley and Ralonzo will be in town. Anyone else towards the end of April? Looking forward to starting and finishing the pub crawl. Last time Rob picked me up when I was already hours into my party and I had to shamelessly check out after 5 or 6 bars....... I did see the riders at the end of the previous week and they were pretty good to go too, so I don't feel that bad.

Room 3 is Clarity and Markus' favorite room, and apparently is across from our room, room 5
I am excited too, been to Seastar for the party but this will be our first time staying there! We were sad we missed the party last reach too, but the renovations look so great we are excited to see it all in person in April


Also, we were thinking of a group day trip with our friend Chicken and his magic bus. It seats 20 or so, so the more the merrier. But we were looking maybe early in the week like Tuesday or so...possibly a YS Falls / Pelican bar type trip so any who are interested and will be there link me when it gets sooner and we can plan something

I'm in for a day trip. Did YS and Pelican on the last reach and loved it. Another thought is Percy's and Half Moon for a day........

Congrats on booking your room, 110 days and counting!

Yes, we stayed at Room 3 in November and we LOVED it. It's perfect. You have privacy because it's the top level and there is lush trees all around. You have a view of balcony number 5 across the room. You'll be able to wave over at Marley & Ralonzo while your swaying on your balcony hammock. The room is huge and the bed is so comfortable. There is a fridge and little kitchen area with everything you'll need. There is a nice little table in there too. Everything looks brand new so I think it's one of the renovated rooms. It's nearly Identical to room 5 (which is where Jamar stayed) You have to watch for the little "lip" when you exit the bathroom... but I'll write about that in my trip report and post lots of pictures. You're going to love it!!

We're planning on staying at the Seastar as well for two days (April 21st and 22nd) . We haven't made reservations yet. I think all the rooms at Seastar are awesome, so I figure we can't go wrong whichever room we end up in. What days will you be there? That would be cool if we were all there at the same time!

Batton down the hatches, I think I might be there April 21 and 22 too! I'm hoping for No. 6, I think that's the downstairs room in the rear corner .... NICE room! They're all nice rooms.

Booger, yes, we did Half Moon last reach, very nice and we are definitely in to try out Percys too but I wanted to take the magic bus on a day trip and Half Moon and Percys are much closer, we could reach there on scooter, like we did last time
I too have been to YS Falls and Pelican Bar, and those have been my two favorite trips of all we have done so far, besides the Mystic Mountain but that one is a little too far for a day trip

If we are going to have a lot of boardies in town I think a nice day trip with Chicken would be serious fun, we can discuss the trip and details with all who want to go and of course where we want to go, but I could only imagine the fun of a big group of boardies out on the Pelican Bar! Too fun

Ok, so you stole Clarity's room (hahaha just teasing) and we are across the way, Gerry may be downstairs....and hey Clarity who knows, maybe you all will score one of the brand new rooms....we will find room for all, that's for sure......April is going to be on fire! Woah!

A day on the magic bus sounds great! Count Sandie and I in and just make sure you take us somewhere killer. We are very easy going and can have fun doing anything anywhere. A group at the Pelican bar would make it that much better. I loved YS and looking back should have spent more time there.

We are probably leaving out of LAX on the 19th with US Airways. Just might see you before we even hit Jamaica. You better book before all the cool kids beat you to it.

Thanks for the great detail as always. If you are not writing travel articles for SOMEONE, I'll be sure to harass you the entire time until you do. Also, I believe Pisces is still open towards the end of the month.
