Sorry Captain ...NO tomatoe juice in a true Canadian Caesar ... thats kept for finishing the extra "light" beers as described above ..and by the way ..who the H ..E ..double hockey sticks brought light beer !!!
See the possibilities ..tomatoe ..clam etc etc etc ..and boom ..clam digger .. I will admit the BEST caesars I've ever had in my life were in Chi-Town ... Murphy's Irish Pub ..perhaps? I have a great memory ...it's just short !!!
2 bottles of 1.75 L Stoly Vodka ..packed and ready to go .. Caesars/Bloody Mary's /Clam Diggers in the AM ..and Martinis with pickled onions for the PM ..
It's GOOD to be king ... Peace

This year we've gone from Stoli's to Grey Goose for our Tini's.
    You can taste the difference.
BTW if you get a chance to try Black Lab Vodka, do so.
This is a U.S. made micro brand, made to compete with the likes of Grey Goose and Belvidere.
Even in the States it's hard to find - available in MN but not WI.

Here's another Martini trick I learned this year, that's great for extra dry's.
Shake the shaker vigorously until your fingers start to hurt.
They hurt because the cap of your shaker will frost over.
This gets a lot of ice crystals into your drink and really chills those bad boys down.
Try it, you'll thank me later.

Hey Rum-Pole are you anywhere near Fond du Lac? Was born and raised there. I also love a good Caeser...clamato, vodka, celery salt and and big squeeze of fresh lemon...tasty!

Negriljail: excellent tip for the vermouth.
If you use vermouth at all - I just pass it over the shaker - that is the way to go.

Patricia Frost-bite Falls is west of Mayville.
