Folks,
It seems that a disgruntled guest at Fun Holiday decided to post on Trip Advisor that they have bedbugs (on about page 2 of the review in BIG LETTERS). Those of you who know about these insidious little critters know that if there is a hint of their presence, you avoid the place like the plague. So, you can see how this review could REALLY hurt the place. If they had them, I would not have a problem with this posting - but they don't, and I hate to see a place that we really enjoyed get hurt by something like this. So.. if you're inclined, I would ask you to go to Trip Advisor and protest the post like I did - and if you want to go a bit further, e-mail them and voice your concern. I know our friends at Fun Holiday would appreciate it! Thanks!

Post Protested...I'll write a good review for them asap. I was just there in November and had a great time. No Bed Bugs in my room!
Had a few ants and some friendly lizards, but they come with the territory. I plan on going back to FH in April for 3 weeks.

I am here at \Fun Holiday right now, no bed bugs here, maybe a few sand fleas, but thats it.

My Family is here as well right now, no bed bugs... It's even better than last year, and the food is fantastic, dieters beware.. LOL

It's our first visit to FH and we've been pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room. Been here 7 days and we've seen one tiny spider in the room. We don't bring any food into the room, so we're not getting any ants. We watched the maids rip apart the room of the teenagers checking out beside us and they are VERY thorough when the rooms are changed over for new guests.

We have dome Deet-Ex 30% Deet spray for our legs and the sand fleas at the beach generally leave us alone. Nowhere near as bad as the beaches in North Bay ON.
