Happy Anniversary to Me!

Today January 1, 2012 marks the Start/Beginning of my 4th year of Retirement, and my 4th anniversary of my stepping out on Faith and a Dream, leaving the known and walking into a life of the unknown.

My mantra given to me by my Pal Angie B, is to ride the roads of Life, till the wheels fall off. So very appropriate.

And to the Boards I hang on, Thank you all for the lessons.

Life in Jamaica, which began in Negril, has taught me that even with one as old as me, there is still so much life left to live, so many waterfalls, sunsets/sunrises/ roads to walk, ride down. So many beaches to play in the water of, so many mountains to explore, so much to do, and I hope lots of time to do it in.

I cannot wait till its my turn!! I have had 4 close friends at work that I have worked with for the last 26 years all retire this year..now its me with all the new nursing students and I cannot wait to go....I love the young ones with their energy and fun drama they bring to work everyday (I so remember )But im looking forward to taking over my life, my holidays, my weekends without permission to have a family and life..as I leave for work today, Ill think of you.. bless....

Patty I'm sending you warm wishes from Mt Airy, Negril, Westmoreland from Yaass Sacred Paradise GuestHouse where we celebrated New Years Eve with good food, drinks, music and Fellowshipping. and Meditation. We slept in a room with no windows nor doors, and a Panoramic view of the Sea, under a most Magnificient star laden sky with a 3/4 Moon..... Life can't get any better. Thank you for your thoughts, mine are with you also, this beautiful morning.

Congrats to you, doctoro! 4 years in Paradise .... that's wonderful. What is this Insider's Guide? Sounds interesting. We plan to do a scaled down version of your retirement - 4-6 months per year in Jam.
