Cell phone info

So usually I rent a cell phone from Clive's along with my transfer to and from airport. Then I remembered I have a couple Motorola "Razor" flip phone from before I got an iPhone. If I charge up and take an old flip phone with a memory disc (SIM card) space under the battery compartment, can I get this Razor activated at the Digicel store for use in Negril? Mostly want phone to connect with local friends, not International use! Just nice to have for cab driver calls and finding out where local friends are. Staying at CAFS Gardens and some times cabs are few and inbetween! Just thought why not use the oldie phone.

Put in a sim card from a phone on a different carrier, if it works it is good to go with a Ja sim card.

If it doesn't work it will have to be unlocked, your cell store should do that for you.

I took an old razor last year and it worked without the unlock thing.
