    Deans Jerk Pork

I really like Ragabones jerk, but have to say Deans is a notch better. After talking to Dean in Dec.he said he had the best year ever
last year after I had posted pics at his hog farm and reporting that I felt it was a clean operation. This year has been a slow start for
him and he requested I mention him again, which I am happy to do Tell him that farmer sent you for a big smile! He is not a hustler at all
but a very gentle soul, and walks the beach in his silver tin around lunch time.He has a super hot style or a milder version

    Woot Woot ... Go Dean!!

He most certainly IS one of the most delightful men offering his high quality product on the beach!

We bought from him just about everyday I was at the beach; mine for lunch and I always carry a next packet home for Mr. Big Man for an evening snack. It works out great when Norman - (Indian Patty Man) comes along just after Dean, grab some hot fresh coco bread from Norman and have a nice lunch of Jerk Pork Sammies ~ Yumm-O!!

The only problem I have with Dean is that he's usually sold out by the time he gets half way down the beach. He's too popular during the busy season. Love his jerk pork and I think it's almost as good as the red dragon if not the same. He once told me that his wife use to work at the red dragon and gave them the recipe.

Actually was told that his Jerk Pork and Ragabones was one in the same years back.
Cause he was getting it from Ragabones. Maybe now Dean makes their own?
And since it's the same recipe it may be hard to tell the difference?

Thanks Laurel for finding the pics of Dean
I saw him yesterday and asked him about his wife ever working for
Ragabones. He chuckled and said nooooo man.And he doesn't buy it
from them either.I went to his farm which is nowhere near Ragabones
and saw hiswife marinating the next days batch. They are very hardworking
couple and his jerk is worth every penny! He told me soya and corn is at an all
time high right now and he is having a hard time because of the cost.
He asked me if I could send a shipping container of corn to him!
Sorry Dean I can't do that as I have no connections for that.

    Hey Farms ~ ~ as I expected.

the costs of everything is so high ... it is what it is ~ and his is the best.

I was there for so long, I think we bought a whole pig from him ... no, he kept telling me, just 1/2 a pig!
