Very nice report. Sounds like you had a peaceful, enjoyable time. I dont think I've ever heard from anyone who does not like Treehouse; it must be a great place! I know the pizza is good there!!!!

now that sounds like such a mellow rejuvenating time--with awesome food. Thanks for posting. I wonder why they target single female travelers from Jamaica for screening coming back to the US. I always went straight through with no issues--hope it continues that way. I usually travel light and only bring back coffee, jerk sauce and maybe some jewelry or rum--so it wouldn't be an issue if I got searched. But once I get home I want to be on my way out of the airport as soon as possible.

    Anyhow looking forward to photos!

What a great thread Chooch - thanks!!
You really did a great job 'sharing' the experience and feelin of this wonderful place. My wife and I are arriving in March for 10 days.......for our 3rd reach....we love The Treehouse and it's wonderful people too.......would stay no where else!
Hope to see some pics - stay healthy and happy and thanks again for a nice read. I'm so looking forward to seeing home again too!

gerry, I never tried their pizza believe it or not...my friend wanted to order it one day after she saw one someone else ordered but we opted for sandwiches
Rex have a good time in March, Treehouse guests are loyal, you get spoiled there and don't want to stay anywhere else although SeaStar comes close but
they don't have a beach or view!
I needed for it to be a mellow rejuvenating trip since I have been non-stop since my April reach.
I did mean to get over to a webcast but you know how plans and sand gravity get you......all plans up in smoke....haha
The Customs agents also target people with a lot of Jamaica stamps on their passport and all my stamps are from JA !!!!!! So I really looked suspicious
    apparently !!!

I still can't post pics it says database error????? any easier way to post pics?

I truly enjoyed reading your trip report! Thanks for sharing! Treehouse is one of the Negril hotels that I've been most curious about, (that and Banana Shout.) I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures!

You mentioned that you were having problems posting them because of a database error.
You can do what I always do...it's not necessarily easier, but it works really well
Sign up for Photobucket (just takes a minute) Upload all the images into there in one swoop
then just copy+ paste the IMG files into an entry. (only 4 are allowed per post though)

The Photobucket method makes it easier to share images with friends too, you can also just post a link to the album and all your pics are in one place

The problem with using a web-host for your pictures is that when you decide to close your account or remove your pictures from the web-host, they disappear from your thread. Nothing more frustrating than seeing a box with a red X where a picture should be. Uploading your pictures into the this forum's database makes them forever.

The biggest problem with uploading pictures is that they are often too large, especially now that large mega-pixel cameras are more prevalent. There are many software options for re-sizing them. IrfanView is a free software package that has a pretty simple re-sizing process. Your pictures meet the forum's size limits without losing a lot of clarity.
