View of the beach from the Boat Bar

People wonder about the beach so when I was at the Boat Bar yesterday I took a couple of pix to show what it is like at that point. The band was playing and Otis Gayle was singing so I have a couple of him here too.

Makes me "homesick" looking at the pics. I used to spend many a night on the swings, sipping a red stripe, when the Boat Bar was an old boat buried in the sand out by the water

great pix, thanks for sharing. it sure looks from how close the water is at Rondell, that there would be no beach left at Tony's Hut, and Maripossa, is that a correct assumption . Cheers!

This is from November this year the beach is returning slowly, but down by Treehouse its wider than it has been for a few years.

Mariposa and Tony's took a pretty good hit in October (end of attached pic vid), but even then I make the point that the sand is not gone it is just sitting 50 yards out waiting to return on the right set of waves.
