    Jbm...

I am thinking of bringing a special bag just to bring coffee back in. What is the most you have brought back to the states? Did you have any hassles?

No hassles what so ever... The most I have brought back was #30 lbs . There are no restrictions when I asked . Wallingford brand is my favorite and the cheapest is at hi-lo grocery .

I was told that thru customs that they more than likely will open your bags and check it out .. And I always had a inspection sticker in my coffee suitcase. Someone told me they get x-rayed and see the bundles and they have dogs sniffing stuff in the back, Some drug runners are hiding the drugs in the coffee to hide the smell so now they hit on the coffee.. It doesnt bother me as long as I get home with the jbm....

But I will add, the last 2 trips we have not bought any there, we now order it thru linaepicure.com a company out of canada, the fact is because it costs the same and we dont have the hassle of hauling it around, It comes to the door.
In the past while in negril we tried the ones on the beach the vendors are selling and the other one that says "Blue Mahoe" jbm , that also seems to be everywhere (My opinion it is NOTHING like wallingford brand , It is the best I have EVERhad~
    Hope this helps ~

Thanks for the tip on the coffee from Linaepicure - I'm going to have to check that out and save ourselves some packing back multiples pounds of coffee home.

Your welcome irie we have to think with today's luggage fees and the extra $$ I would rather spend $50 on more coffee than give it to the airlines in baggage fees
    Bless
