THAT is why I use a credit card, not a debit card. In both cases charges will be completely refunded in the event of fraud (perhaps less a $50 fee, depending on the fraud type) but in one case you simply don't pay the bill until it's resolved, in the other you lose all your money until it's resolved. I'll take the former any day.

The only place I ever use a CC in JA is when the hotel wants an imprint for charges to the room. Knock wood, never an issue. Its all cash on the barrel for everything else....
