not bragging just showing i'm getting a bit old. leaving for Negril feb 10th. first trip was 1974. been each year at least once except 1980. still get as excited as ever building up to our trip. anyone out there got me beat ?

Well, 1972 was my first visit, but haven't been back nearly as many times....too many other places to go.

nope........first arrived in Jamaica in Jan of 1982....this is only mi 30th year of going to Jamaica.....
too many trips to keep count.......sometimes 3 times a year.....mostly all in Negril.....
did the Jamaican marriage thingy and the Jamaican board house thingy over dem years too.......
met so many people over the years that it is hard to remember dem all.......locals and travelers.......
oh da memories........going back for mi 30th Anniversay in ten days..........
just seems like yesterday that this young guy was in Ochie drinking dem first Red Stripes beers.....

Here now, with family 27 in all.
Mostly next generation in their twenties and thirties.
I have provide some leadership but am mostly interested in them exploring for themselves.
....dang i'm a newbie ..first touch in 89 ..with ex wife ..then never missed a year till 2008 ..some with my daughter ..most with ex girlfriends/lovers ..some with Ja ladies in waiting ..some solo .. all in toll nearly two years spent pon the rock ..
This touch with my new fiancee ...she is a bit troubled with my negril "past" and interested in seeing what all the fuss is about..
I trust that my age and experience will lead this adventure to a non trip report sort of touch..whilest still "seeing" everything that
has twitched my Negril itch so many moons ago ..
Good for you!!!! Its so nice to spend extended time here. Warning: One month quickly turns into 6 weeks the following year - 8 weeks the next couple, 3 months which is where I'm "stalled" at....it gets harder and harder to leave...

Lance's first trip was in 1974. He wanted to return so much he took me in 1987. After many beautiful trips,
we didn't discover Negril until 2000 and never looked back. Do we want to go anywhere else? NO!
