Chrissy, it is a little more than 3 miles from RIU. The hotel might have a day trip excursion set up for it. If they don't I am sure the concierge will be happy to set one up for you.

It is waqlkable from there. Check the open hours as the winter is off season for a water park. (even in Negril)
