Once the internet allowed background color settings - Negril.com first settled on a green on black theme - that was back in January of 1996...

click on settings at the top of the page - there is a option in the general section i think it was, to change the 'forum skin'

Shelly scroll all the way down to the bottom and there is a drop down box set at default settings hit the drop down and pick color you want
