Claro network to shut down March 1, 2012

The Gleaner has an article today saying "Digicel announced that they will be closing the Claro network on March 1st."

I you travel to Ja and have a Claro phone it will have to be replaced

Well I would expect that Digicell SHOULD "unlock" current Claro customer phones and provide a replacement sim for FREE. After all, digi is buying out claro, its not like claro went bankrupt...

And what happens to my 1100J credit on my phone?
