    Resteraunt review The Spa Resort

When we went to Canoe (which we love) we didn't see Georgia
We called her and said she was now working at The Spa Resort and we must stop by to check it out!
We went last night for sunset dinner and got the tour of the place.Looks very Rockhouseish.Very well put together
with all rooms having a view of the sea.The kitchen had equipment to die for and super clean. We were the only ones there
for the entire evening.Wifey had the caloloo stuffed chicken and I had the coconut snapper, excelent!Very fresh ingredients
which I was worried about with us being the only patrons. This place is very romantic and I would highly recommend it for a special night out.
I like Rockhouse but lately it has been crowded and somewhat not able to handle the crowds.Like Rockhouse and Kuyaba
the entrees are reasonably priced but the drinks add up fast. Please give them a try

I was really tempted to check this place out when I was there in nov. It didnt seem like the kind of place for a solo dude to hang at though.lol

    Yeah PGW
I would not think that it is good for a single dude but women would like it here
but more thinking a special night with the lady without the crowds

    Ouch
This is a new restaurant open since sept.
Honestly I didn't think it was open for non occupants but it is.
I can vouch for the ingredients because thats what I do
Greek salad came in a oversize martini glass
    Bruchetta was excellent

farmer , nice to see you and lilfarmer on the site again: now this Spa Resort... did it used to be Home Sweet Home?

The Spa Retreat is on the land where Heartbeat was. Home Sweet Home is still around. I believe the restaraunt is named Blue Mahoe. Sounds like the food quality matches the accomodations.

Thanx for the review. It's now on our list of must-go-to's.

If you really want to recommend it, please tell us exactly where it is. I have no idea where Heartbeat was.

Please don't take this as a personal attack; for many reviews posted here, I have not the slightest idea where I would go to find the place. A Google search for spa resort negril doesn't turn up anything that seems to be what you're talking about. If you want to help them get new customers, that information is essential.

Depending on how familiar you are with the West End.....it is located just past On the Rocks seaside. Just before Tayon's and Jenny's. Past MiYard and around the bend. If you use taxis they will know where it is. Its not yet on the great Negril map that Jamaicans.com did but you can see where Heartbeat was and thats the location. Hope that helps.
