Never been to White Sands but do stay at HP a lot. HP is in a better location as far as walking distance to the nightlife and downtown. The rooms come standard with a fridge, NO coffee maker, NO beach towels, They do offer Bfast which you can either include in the room price or not, and they do have safe's available in each room. I'm not sure about the bed size, but I think it is usually 2 doubles or some rooms have 1 Queen.
