Catcha is so beautiful! Have never stayed there but did have dinner there one time on my last reach and it was one of the best meals I have ever had in Negril. Love the sound of tree frogs and the one time I did stay on the cliffs really missed hearing them. Had always thought it was because they needed to be around vegetation, but in Hettie's trip report I noticed that Citronella seemed to have a lot of vegetation and asked her if she heard them there, and she replied that she thought the tree frogs lived in the morass, which made perfectly good sense to me. Sometime, though, probably not this next trip, but the trip after, I'm going to try another cliff stay, just so I can do some snorkeling. Not afraid of lion fish. Have seen them lots of times over by Point Village and they never bothered me, though at the time I didn't know they were dangerous. Just thought they were beautiful fish.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The moment I have been patiently (or maybe not so) waiting for!
The arrival at Catcha! Woo hoo
I too will never forget the very first time I stepped foot on that property and when I walked out into the open and saw it all for the first time, it truly did take my breath away, that to me was 100% love at first sight!
I am so glad you both felt the same way, though I never had any doubt......and glad you liked your greeting postcard and treat.....I made sure that Andrea and Mauvette knew that they had some VIP guests coming LOL

These pictures and your report have made my whole day.....soon come my sweet Catcha! soon come!

"My eyes involuntarily filled with tears" The same thing happened to me Clarity. I've been waiting for you to arrive at Catcha. You loved the other places so much I wondered how it would compare. How cool is it that you guys had three different types of experiences all in Negril? So glad to see Ben! He looks great.. and Mauvette too! The office staff is so friendly at Catcha and I hope you met Carol who works at Ivan's during the day - she is awesome. In a couple days we will be in Gemini for our third time. thanks for sharing you experience, it's a real pleasure to follow along.

Didn't hear tree frogs when staying at Blue Cave but recall hearing them at Seastar when we stayed there.
