Those pictures are fantastic! I can't wait to be back at Seastar in March.
We had room # 3 on our first stay there in 2009, # 2 last March and will have # 6 this time.
    Soon come...

Maryann - I definitely recommend checking out the Seastar. I understand now why it has such a following. You really feel at home there.

Booger - you're going to LOVE room 3#! It's all new and pretty, smells like fresh pine

Just a word of caution though. The floor in the bathroom is a few inches lower than the floor in the hallway area. The tile is the same color. Every single time we exited that bathroom, Markus and I stubbed our toe very hard.

    Every. Single. Time.

You'd think there would be a learning curve or something... nope.

I'm just telling you this in advance so you don't make the same stupid mistake as us. lol! Just Be aware of it

Marley - I don't know about room 5# - If Jamar stubbed his toe. He never told us about it. Looking forward to partying with you guys!!

Jamaica Joleen - thanks! So Glad you're enjoying the pics!

Rumrunner - Thanks! 18 days at the Seastar coming up! That's so awesome! Have a great time!

Gerryg123 - Hey, do you know anything about Room 12?

Has anyone ever stayed in room 12?

Well, we will just drink lots of rum, so if we stub our toes in room 5 we won't feel it!
    Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to laugh Clarity....we have stayed in room 3 several times. The exact same thing happened over and over. Finally, the third time there....we got it!!! Our toes were quite appreciative!

    Trip Report Continued

So We checked out of the Grand Pineapple and head over to Seastar Inn

That was the night of the Luciano concert… I never really heard his music before but was dying to check it out…

All I could say is that it started out being such a blur…

We checked in at around 4 pm and immediately hit the swim up bar… let’s just say I had too much to drink.... and way too soon.

To cap things off, I had a JB and Ting... For all you people that know that local drink… you’ll know what I’m talking about! It's strong!!

So I Passed out for an hour when I got back to the room (But it felt like I had only slept for 5 minutes!)

I woke up to Markus pounding my door trying to get me up… apparently from what he told me, it took 10 minutes of pounding my door for me to wake up and realize that I was missing the opening acts of the concert.

I needed to get up and haul ass down there. I more like sloshed down there… I was still drunk and sluggish. I could barely touch my food in the beginning.

    Then that’s when it happened....

There was this opening act in which they were playing these African drums and beats. All of a sudden the sound… in combination with the sight of 2 very very very very very beautiful ladies in African costume dancing suddenly just woke me up!

I no longer felt drunk or sluggish but more filled with energy! I ate my food and I started drinking again!

I can’t explain it, but it was like this African spirit that just came over me! The music just made me feel alive and filled with a sense of pride!

I really enjoyed the night hanging with Markus, Daisy, and Bella Bea (Which most of you already know) and listening to Luciano… I must say I loved his music! It was very refreshing and made me get up out of my chair. I was dancing all night.

We wound down the night down with Rob and Lisa . I have to confess that ended up right back where I started when I first arrived at Seastar...

But hey, that’s a beautiful thing!

I didn't partake in the JB & Ting consumption at the swim up bar that day.

After one Dirty Banana, I was good. The drinks at Seastar are delicious and strong. Instead of white, This Dirty Banana had a raw umber hue and truly “dirty”. I loved it.
