OK...come on Jamar...I'm waiting!!!
I'm sorry this isn't about Negril, but we could really use your prayers right now.
On sunday morning I received a phone call from the hospital. A very close friend of me, Markus and Jamar is in the intensive care unit. She is in a coma, and has been unconscious for 3 days now. They do not know the cause. She can no longer breathe on her own so she is hooked up to a ventilator but her heartbeat is stable. This is a friend that is very near and dear to the three of us. We're devastated. We've been at the hospital, sitting by her bedside since Sunday.
I know this is a website to discuss Negril, so I'm not going to elaborate any further about this. If anyone has experience with a loved one in a coma, it would mean a lot to me if you could send me a PM. We've never been through anything like this before. I'm very scared.
Everyone here at Negril.com has become like a family to us. So I'm opening up about this. Any prayers you can offer up for my bestfriend and her family during this time would be really appreciated.
Carpe Diem
You got them!!! Be strong for her and each other. Prayers are with you, Markus, Jamar and especially your friend.
Happy holiday family time!
Clarity - You and your friend will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Prayers sent to your friend and her family ((((hugs)))) Daisy,Markus,Jamar. Hope they determine what is wrong. I hope she fights it and comes out of the coma.
Prayers being sent Daisy....just keep talking to her....even though it may seem as though she doesn't hear you, she may be able to "feel" you....
Daisy, Markus and Jamar...
I will keep you all close and in my prayers and thoughts.
I agree with northcoast. Keep talking, she absolutely can feel it!
Talk to her, tell her stories, laugh, cry, read, joke.....tell her to fight and remind her how strong she is
Sending you all love and strength.
Oh, no! So sorry about that. Will keep her in my prayers. Hope things get better soon.
Sending prayers your way...hope your friend comes out of this happy and healthy
