Right there with everyone else...really miss Pickled Parrot. At Joseph's Cave, we have always had a great time conversing with Miss Mae. Generally we buy a drink and talk a while, then head down to the cave. Last time we were there, we snorkeled but it was tough getting back out there, especially if the water doesn't cooperate...no ladder . One could always enter there and check out the cave, then snorkel down to rockhouse. You should be able to get out easily at the ladder near the restaurant. According to our Jamaican friends, many who work at the resorts....If you enter a resort from the sea, they can't say much(well, they may say something but in reality, one can exit there) However, if one enters from the street, a resort can refuse.

We had this happen one time, when we were out snorkeling with Vincent. We were staying on the cliffs and the sea was so rough that we had to be let off at Seagrapes, I believe that was the name. Anyhow, a guest that was staying there was giving us a hard time, telling us we could not exit there. Vincent assured us that he could say all he wanted but we indeed could exit if we entered from the sea side of the resort. Good to know, for in reality, we didn't have much choice. Good luck and enjoy your cave and snorkel adventures.
