Things to do questions - Orange Hill, Little Bay, Little London, Jurassic Park etc...

Sweetness mentioned Orange Hill in one of her posts so I have been searching a bit. About all I could find mentioned about the place was it was farm country and famous for sweet corn. During my search I also found mention of Little Bay, Little London, Jurassic Park, and Little Bay Donkey races.
I may have to take a cruise out that way. Is there an admission charge for Jurassic Park?
I did not find much for directions to this area. How far from the Westender is this place?

I've never been charged to enter Jurassic Park but it's nice to buy a drink if the bar is open, or visit the gift shop where the artist's smaller creations are offered for sale. His larger creations are the main reason people go there

I think you need a map. The Westender is dead center of this one, zoom out and have a look around:

Hey LL - jurassic park is not far from Westender - as soon as you pass Westender you will begin going uphill (amazing views - see photo) - that is the begining of Orange Hill from what I was told - you twist and turn thru the lovely little town and Jurassic is on your right maybe a couple miles? not sure but the day I passed they had jerk on the grill and it smelled GOOOOOD. Didn't stop but will one day. I was so taken by this area that I was searching for FOR SALE signs (lol). That road takes you thru to the road to Sav and from Westender seemed much shorter than going back to town and to Sav. Hope that helps - I am definately not an expert but did explore a bit.

The donkey races in Little Bay have not happened since 2008.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think donkey races are scheduled for Negril on Feb 12, 2012. Not sure exactly where or the time though.

Donkey Races last few years have been in WAVZ Park (Niah & Masons places)
They have been a fund raiser for The Negril Rotary Club

One of my favorite get outta Negril for a short trip is to jump off A1 at Orange Bay wander down to Cave Valley and then up and over to Grange Hill, single lane road, drive slow with windows down to hear oncoming traffic. A nice mix of goat and cattle, cane and coconut farms. Just the plants along the road would make any gardener green with envy.
I have won many awards in a lifetime of competition and service. But the highest was offered without plaque or fanfare on a hilltop in post Ivan Jamaica. A true Rasta and a dear friend observed "Chet you are like a father of men, you see need and fulfill that need without being asked". Let us be travelers and not tourist.
