We normally only have one or two "nice/expensive" dinners per trip. The rest of the time, we try to conserve. Or favorite is Alfreds, for breakfast or dinner. Lots of food for a low price. Italian Cafe has wonderful pizza and pasta. Rondell has great pumpkin soup....

A new spot for me this time is a place called "3 Stars". On the beach - on a lane called One Mile. I stopped using the beach at Whistling Bird, and am now using Kuyaba for my beach days. All the locals around this spot eat from "3 Stars", they deliver, or it is an easy walk from this area of the beach. REALLY good food at really good price for box meals.

Alfreds - fish and chips or fried chicken ~ YUM!
Kuyaba - breakfasts, lunch items, dinners, etc., have all been excellent! Cannot say enough about the excellent staff as well!
Of course - Dean the Jerk Pork guy ...

Patties ... "ugh" to Nevelle - sorry .... Norman does not pass by Kuyaba (he joins the beach farther down) ... Norman has been decent, but Nevelle's product is just nasty! I get mine from Juicy Patty or Hamonds near the roundabout on my way to the beach.

I thought Sunbeach had good food, jerk chicken was good for me & the burgers were good. Not sure if Roy is still the cook there or not? Rayon Hotel had great food, have a look at their menu, you might want to let them know in the morning if you want something special and they will shop for it and specially prepare it. Enjoy, everyting is good mon in Negril.

Just spent a few days at wild parrot, formerly seaquesr, near firefly. The food was excellent!! Spent alot of time at the bar, and kept seeing the same people come back every night to try another dish. A chef from Philly is there training the staff, lobster pasta rocked...

My other must when in Negril is kuyaba...deep fried Brie with guava jelly is a must try...at blue cave now, bacon wrapped shrimp soon come!

we tried the chicken club sandwich at the Boat Bar a few days ago - never again!

I've never had a chicken sandwich that still had bones attached to the breast meat

I have been to Jamaica many times, so have all the boardies on here. Please don't be nervous. We have gone off the property everytime.
Just remember you WILL be appraoched. It is how some make their living. Just a polite no thank you and they will leave you alone.
My husband and I just find it so hard to say no. That is the only reason I don't like walking around and if you just remember that they have asked 100's
before you and will ask 100's after you.

Yes, that was our kids' favorite on the trip! Order, come back in an hour, so good. Amazing fried shrimp. Couldn't believe when we ordered fish and chips and it was a small whole fried fish and the kids loved it.

We had a great dinner at Kuyaba, and two great meals at Chill Awhile for dinners last time we were in Negril. The other meals we had were on the cliffs. But there seemed to be many great places along the beach that we hope to enjoy in the future. Jamaican food is fabulous. I so look forward to our next trip! Food is a highlight, indeed.
