    Where are the best patties?

We are staying at Rooms on the Beach and wondering where to get the best patties?

Norman's are good. They're prepared with cocoa bread. Veggie, chicken and beef. Watch for him pushing his bike on the beach.

If they're prepared w/ coco bread, they aren't patties, they're loaves. I'm more of a pattie person since I'm not big on bread.

Neville starts at the other end of the beach. He bakes his own patties (don't know about Norman) but lately, they've been a bit thin. I still love his patties & the "to the beach lounger" service. He passes Rooms. Nothing beats that.

Thanks for the clarification, Yvonne, I didn't know that. We've known Norman for many years and have had many budget lunches eating his loaves.

I'd been eating patties for years before I had a loaf at the old Three C's. Tried it, too much bread. Oddly, I do like coco bread, usually w/ melted cheese. I like the lighter, flaky crust. Here at home I don't eat subs or sandwiches but am very big on wraps made w/ flatbread. Just a bread thing w/ me, I guess.

I love Norman's, for sure. I can't believe I have never tried Niah's before but I will rectify that this summer!

i agree with out of town pastry... i may be biased since the owner is my dad.. but when i was there for 2 months over the summer i tried patties from everywhere and his were the best... norman's are good too.. so if you're on the beach get normans.. if your in westend go to out of town pastry... its a little past the light house
