there are many great places to stay in negril,but we think coco is one of the best! (great location,really nice people working there as you found out.) you may want to re-think grand pineapple and try someplace different. we try to stay at someplace different each time we go and we haven't been disappointed yet. look at negrilonestop for a good map of the hotels in negril with pics/prices etc. you may want to look at the cliffs next time too, it's a bit more relaxed than the beach.
We go there every year, I can't say enough good stuff about coco and the staff!

I have really enjoyed reading your trip reports. You guys are a great inspiration!!!! I just love how the universe finally provided you with your Honeymoon suite! We make our trips to Negril in April as well. And I am hoping for a November 2011 trip. Maybe one day our paths will cross!

Nicest pool in Negril! Stayed there last august and spent a lot of time in that pool.
Your report is so memorable... we had the same thing happen at CCLP, booked a less expensive room, and upgraded to the unit right below yours. Absolutely perfect. Can not wait to return. We have been to Negril 4 times, and CCLP is on top of the list.
