Nice report so far Marko, thanks for taking the time. Got a question for you.........do they sell coolers at Mega Mart??? We always have one in Negril yet ours was getting older, so we gave it to one of our JA friends that was in need...no frig......So, we were going to get one here at home and pack it up with stuff but then starting thinking...with the charges now for checked luggage, we might reconsider this decision. Since we generally leave our cooler with the resort or a friend until our next reach, maybe it would just be smarter to use that 25 US fee to buy a cooler in Jamaica. The stuff we would pack in it, we wouldn't have any way to get it back unless we overloaded one piece of luggage...which would put us over the 50 lb limit.. Thus, more US $$ to make it back home. Just seems smarter to me, to buy a new one once we reach. Last one we purchased was at the hardware store in Negril. Just thought it might be worth stopping at Mega Mart for a better price. IF you have any info on this, would really appreciate a heads up. Respect!

mi wasn't lookie for coolers when mi was in MegaMart.....
mi was intent on getting snacks and beer......lol
but if mi was to guess.....
mi would say Yes they have coolers there as they had a lot of stuff in dat store......
ask Bnewb as she goes there sometimes.......or email Kenny at KennyJamaica@gmail.com.......
or somebody will chime in......and yes the backage fee stuff makes you think twice before you hit the airport......

it's getting so expensive with the bag fees......that mi was thinking of just taking the money mi would have spent on bags and just go shopping at Megamart for shorts, swim trunks and tshirts when mi arrived.......and then give the stuff away
on Spirit it cost mi $66 for a bag down and back and mi sure I could have gotten some half decent clothes for that $66 at MegaMart or at the shops in Negril......

surprised you haven't tried Bigga's..........but if you go by too late or too early.......you kinda out of luck.......

good olde Bentley's......ate der twice and hung out there every other day.........Bentley is a old buddy of mine.......
first meal was the Crab Cakes and mi forgot mi camera.........but TropicBob took pics so mi should have some soon.......
and the second meal was the Brown Stew Chicken our last night...........
and wi dived in.....and wi both said chit when wi finished.....cause wi forgot to take pics of the Brown Stew........dayum
but that is how things go when you have such great food and scenery around you........lol
Bentley's food was far superior to anything else wi had the entire trip.......and wi had awesome food all week.....

I'd bet Megamart has a cooler or two..The have just about everything else there..I always try to hit it up if am in Mobay...and yes, Marko-you could get a whole wardrobe there (including shoes) LOL ....
