Kuyaba?
Markus and I are really really hoping we can make it to Jamaica in April to celebrate our anniversary. We’ve been faithfully putting money into our little “iriebox” for months. We would like to do a beach/Cliffs split up. We want to stay somewhere romantic on the cliffs for our actual anniversary (4/20) and then move over to an affordable place on the beach.
I’ve been looking at various different beach hotel options. Bar B Barn, Fun Holiday, White Sands, The Palms Resort..
"The Unofficial Negril.com Reader’s survey" created by Gerryg123 listed Kuyaba as one of the top favorite hotels. I always thought Kuyaba was one of those really expensive boutique hotels way out of our price range. I never bothered even looking at it as an option. The “preliminary” results of the survey made me curious, so I looked…
…And I was surprised to find out that I was wrong! The rustic cabins start at only $56.00! That’s a great price for a prime spot on the beach!
Has anyone stayed in one of the Rustic Cabins?
When they say “rustic” – are we talking dilapidated with roaches crawling around, holes in the sheets and cold water showers or just basic old school charm?
What was your experience like there? How is the food there?
Would you recommend it?
