I have stayed at Kuyaba in the "honeymoon suite" and it was really nice and affordable, it is only just over $100 per night in high season and around $85 in low. This room has an AMAZING porch and overlooks the trees and grounds closest to the restaurant. OH...and speaking of the restaurant...OH MY GOD!!! Amazing food!!! So SOOOO good. Last reach I was in Negril for a total of 8 days and ate there 5 of those for dinner and 6 for lunch. It is a bit pricey, but so sooooo good. and VERY ROMANTIC. Last year while I was in Negril my very good friends stayed at Kuyaba in a regular room and I visited them several times. The room was nice, basic, but nice. the price for these rooms is only around $75 in low season and just under $100 in high season. You can also rent a fridge for $6.
The property is beautiful and the staff is friendly. It is in a great location to do whatever you fancy on your trip. I did see inside one of the rustic cabins one night last year when I was exploring while waiting for my carry out. There was a friendly couple on the porch playing cards and we struck up conversation, I asked if I could see what their cabin looked like and they said sure. I didn't want to delve too deep and be rude but I did take a sneak peek and it looked ok. It was the one by itself, closest to the beach. Anyway...I hope that my info helps some and I would be happy to answer any other questions that you my have. Did I mention how GREAT the food is there??? LOL.
