    Lots of deals in April
    What about CoCo La Palm
    They have two pools.
Also they are located on the area with the best and widest beach.
Lots of good restaurant choices nearby too

The honeymoon suite is all booked for the days we wanted to go.
Drats. Although, this doesn't come as a surprise...
Guess we'll book ahead for our 20th anniversary. haha!

The king suite rooms are out of our price range.
There's IS a deluxe room available but it has two double beds.
    hmmm..

me no sen - we stayed at Coco La Palm on our first trip to JA and we enjoyed our stay there
We got a great deal during that time and they even upgraded us to the Honeymoon suite
It was a dream come true!

I saw that there is an $90.00 special, ($108 w/tax) in April but I'm trying to go a little bit cheaper this time for our stay on the beach
This way we can splurge a bit for a romantic cliff hotel on the night of our anniversary.
    Carpe Diem

Clarity, I will probably get bashed for this, but I think I have a Negril resort that matches MANY of the things you like:

    The RIU Negril Club

I know it's not a popular choice among the Hip, but think about this:

If you're on a budget, you can't beat the value in terms of unlimited drinks, good food, nice beach and LOTS of privacy if you want it with ZERO higglers, and best of all, VERY nice rooms.

And the staff there is amazing, they're the ones who first got me hooked on Jamaica. I've been there about 10 times!

Plus, Negril gets smaller the more times you go: You can hop in route taxi any time to get to the Strip or CLiffs.

If you add up all the meals, drinks and snacks while staying at a place like Coco or Catcha, the RIU can hang pretty tough .... You should be able to get a room for two with all food and activities for 200 per day.

UPDATE: RIU Club is only $155 for TWO peeps for week of April 15 to 22 ... RIU Tropical Bay, considerably nicer, is only 170 ....
