Well the football game was a bust. The wife and I walked all the way to Fun Holiday and nothing was going on. On a good note we made it to Niah's and man oh man are those patties worth the walk! We tried the Chicken and Italian. Both were wonderful. If you have never had a fresh pattie you don't know what you are missing.

We came back and watched the Super Bowl at Travellers for a bit and then it was time for some rest.

On Monday we had a chill day on the beach and did some shopping at the Hi Low. Needed to stock up on Beer and such for the week.

Tuesday was an awesome day. We met some new friends on the beach and chilled with Yvonne in the sun. Mark is from Canada. He pours extremely stiff rums but brings multiple cups! LOL! Lisa was having troubles with Mariners as she booked her room with Expedia. We gave her some advice and we hope it worked out for her.

Tuesday night we went to Kuyaba for supper. It was a great meal and we enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The deck and bar area is gorgeous. After supper we made our way down to the Beenie Man concert at The Jungle. That was a lot of fun. Everyone was feeling the vibe and the crowd was very good. He stayed away from his popular stuff but did a few songs we knew. All in all it was worth it, my first experience with the Jungle. The concert was upstairs and the crowd wasn't too big.

We are doing the Bar Crawl this afternoon and that should illicit some good stories. Hope you are all well. We will check in again soon.

I do not understand how hotels can have perpetual booking issues...for a guest, confidently reserving a room is KINDA IMPORTANT, NO? LOL As in KEY to a hotel's core business...are we talking about quantum physics here?

If I OWNED A HOTEL I'd be sure to figure it out and get it right. It's not optional. LOL

It blows my mind that some hotels don't take the booking process seriously and do such a poor job.

Crusher - I just want to wish you and your wife all the best. I hope that this is but one of many more trips to Negril for the both of you. I am an oncology nurse and sometimes when I am on the beach, I see folks that I know are in treatment. It makes me feel so good to see them out there enjoying life to the fullest! One woman I spoke to told me how she and her husband are spending half the year in retirement in JA (to miss winter of course) and she flies home to Ann Arbor for her treatments every 6 weeks. She credits her time in JA as being a key ingredient in her healing, both spiritual and physical.

Peace & Blessings to you both,
