Can you recommend a reasonably priced Spa in Negril, Jamaica for massage, facial, etc

Hi there, My husband and I are going to Couples Negril for 7 nights in March 2012. We checked out the spa at our resort. Unfortunately their prices are not in our budget. Can anyone recommend a "reasonably priced" Spa in Negril? I would consider $60 reasonable for a massage. I don't need anything fancy. I've read a lot about Jackie's on the Reef. The prices seem good but I was hoping to find something closer to the Couples Negril Resort. Thank you.

    B. Getz ..As 5x Couples Negril guests, you may want to see if there are any "perks", such as a complimentary couples massage, or so many dollars available to you, as spa...or resort credit. Each time we have visited CN we received something of the sort, and were always able to "buy up", so to speak, for longer, or more treatments...I happen to know for a fact that there are always perks if you are a repeat guest...In all honesty, I don't think we have paid much, if anything out of pocket during our stays, and have always received spa perks galore...(another reason I LOVE Couples Negril)

The spa at Couples is lovely. Was lovely when it was just in thatch small cottages around the tennis court, and now they have big space. The prices are steep for sure, and the massage is NOT the best for the price. However if you decide to go, or if they have specials for you, as mentioned by Lisapat above, go well before your appointment time and enjoy the enormous hot pool together first. Very zen.

Jackies massages are the best we've had in Negril, not counting our friend who used to set up in our room. She was great and that worked out swell till she moved to the US. So we ended up going to Jackies the last couple of years. The trip is long'ish, say 30 minutes each way, and the car fare is perhaps $20? each way I think? Can't quite recall, but in that neighborhood. But it's worth the experience. Jackies is remote and beautiful. Go as early as possible in the morning and get a couples massage overlooking the sea. You will think you own the world. It is so magnificent. And afterwards enjoy either another treatment (last time I got pedicure while my husband had a cold one at the bar) and treat yourself to some fabulous blended fruit concoction or other food/beverage. Then head back. You'll have spent a wonderful morning, and you can still enjoy Couples all afternoon.

Only once did I try a massage on the beach and it's only value was providing me with one heck of an authentic experience and good story to tell. Lousy massage. I'm sure that's not true with many of those providing services, but I haven't tried it again.

I want to go to Jackie's on the Reef and try their all new "Bamboo" massage. Sounds stimulating.

Definitely go for Jackie's! I've had facials there 'including a foot massage) and the body scrub. Am sure the massages only are of the same quality. Nothing can beet the place, it's so relaxing... The sound of the ocean while getting the treatment and the whole vibe of the place are well worth the trip out there!

Although I have never had a massage, (dont like to be rubbed by a stranger) if I was going to, it would be at Jackies. I have had a tour of the property and it is "the " place to get one!

Does Jackie's on the Reef have a website or anything? That sounds like something fabulous the husband and I could do together on our adults only trip.
