I've always pronounced it Neg-grul, but when I watched Smiths Route Taxi Video he pronounced it Neg-grill. I am terrible about pronunciation and I want to say it correctly. Thanks!

I pronounce it Neg-ril, N with a short "e" and the "i" short also. It's a VCCV pattern, so you divide between the two consonants.
If it followed phonics, that is LOL.
I have always pronounced it Nih-grill but for some reason when talking to Jamaicans I say Nay-grill - maybe my lame attempt at patios?
