Do the hotels have the means to blow them up or do you have to do it by hand?

Bring one from home. Blow it up when you get to the beach. Give it to the kids before you leave.

RIU Club has a little pump device to blow 'em up for you; an unadvertised service, but a good one.

ugh, forgot about the blowing it up part! Been there and done that, don't want to do it again. I might have to wander the beach looking for a pump..or for a young entrepreneur who wants to make a few dollars.

Always bought one at the little shop at Sunbeach...and they offer a pump to blow it up and each time someone around has offered to blow it up for me. Have paid $10 for the single and $18 for one a little bigger and better quality. Sunbeach also let me leave it stored there during the trip so didn't have to worry about carting it back and forth with me to the beach and it was always around each day I returned to use it. Left it behind for other's to enjoy when I left.

I remember that place..bought a cheapie snorkel tube there my last trip. I liked the gift shop/drug store because they had things there that were reasonably priced. They do have a variety of items from throwaway cameras to sunscreen to souvenirs, so it's worth checking out.
