Love going to the Sav Market (I hear the one in Green Island is nice nice too) but I always come home exhausted from the swirling energy (lol) and the lightning taxi ride. Expect STRONG SALES SKILLS (lol). My advice would be to go with a local Jamaican friend if its your first time. They can help you manuveur, bargain and understand patios and Jamaican dollars pricing. The selection is HUGE (fish markt too) and also great shopping for other stuff there too.
But for a shorter stay I think Negril has everything you need. My favorite produce place is just west of downtown up a lane a few blocks down from the roundabout - they have great produce but again you should bargain and be aware of what a fair price is.
