    Hammocks

Hi Everyone, Two weeks until our first trip to Negril. Thanks to all of you, we have lots of places we want to go (Ivan's, Xtabi, 3 Dives, Bentley's, Kuyoba) and lots more. I read in one of these posts that there is a place to buy a Jamaican made hammock. I think this would be a perfect gift for us to bring home and we have the perfect spot for it too.
Really enjoy all of your stories and suggestions. Sure is a great group of people on this forum.
    Thanks,
    Lou & Shay!

we bought a hammock maybe 5 years ago from sombody on the bridge, it has been the best thing made out of fishing net. The fabric is very comfortable and very very durable, and really cool tye dye. It has held up really well, just faded. The last few times we have been there we tried to get another one and were unable to find anything similar so every year we just pull the same hammock out. we will be in Negril in about 10 days and hope to search this time for another one. Maybe down by Riu there is a market, maybe down there, I will be interested is seeing if anybody has any ideas.
Don't want something that hurts to lay in it!!!!!!!

$60 seems kind of steep. I'm going to have to check out those hammocks with all the raves. Nothing like a good hammock.

$60 does seems like alot but you can not beat the quality of Francine's hammocks. The hammock & rope are packed up in a handy carry bag too!!
