30 SPF for sure, I use banana boat sports --doesn't sweat off or come off in water. I bring the spray since I travel solo--it makes it easier to get my back covered. It is not my favorite kind though--it goes on dry which is good for clothes etc--but it can leave a sorta powdery white residue (not nice!) But the coverage and staying power is really good. I use a different lotion (still SPF 30) for my face--and reapply often. I always get quite tan and no burns.
