I use Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch SPF 30 or 50, depending how long I'll be in Negril. Of late that's been the SPF 50 and I still manage to get a tan going my first day. I make sure to reapply after being in the water or taking a really long walk, but still manage to get plenty dark without burn.
