    RIP Wilmot "Motty" Perkins

For those of you who don't know "Motty" Perkins was the Godfather of Jamaican talk radio.

His career spanned 53 years from 1960.

I will miss hearing him on Power 106 every day.

I know this isn't related to tourism but for those who wish to know more about Jamaican culture it's a milestone.

You can read the story in today's Gleaner and Observer
    Linston's Zion Hill Taxi

this is really too bad. I used to love listening to his show in the office.

he was ever so provocative. I will miss hearing his voice on the radio. I like the way he used to call out the politicians on their "nonsense"
