on your other thread saw a photo of Sweetie pie with a wine glass in her hand did they have any wine glasses in the room. Last time we were in negril on the beach our hotel did not have wine glasses and Mrs Vikman had to resort to a plastic cup. We were planning on bringing one in the suitcase but would rather not.

Is there a store within walking distance for beer/wine/liquor and how were the prices
    Thanks

the wine glasses are from the bar. Housekeeping brought what ever we asked for to the room so I would think they'd bring you wine glasses. We didn't buy any bottles of wine down there except with dinner one night so I can't help you there. I did see a thread about buying wine before we left that seemed to be fairly thorough.

L&M is just down the street. They have a selection of wine a liquor. You should be able to find something there you like.

We are here now wi fi in room works great so able to get things out early. The room is dated but overall it is huge. It is kind of an eye opener when we first got here but it grows on you. We have always done all inclusive so we knew not to expect the same quality room. The balcony is huge and the views are great exept the roof of the other units. We are still enjoying it. As Guirigay said the property is small but it adds a certain feeling. The staff from the minute you check in are all friendly and will get anything you need. Still have time here so if anything else comes up I can let you know. I had some reservations before we arrived but am having a wonderful time here.

ellmackey - I enjoyed the food when we ate there. Good Brown Stew. Breakfast were $6-8 US I think, lunches 500-800J, dinners $10-15 US. $12 US for your choice of prep on a fish dinner, brown stew, escoveitched and other options.

I got the impression that some rooms are dated, while others have been upgraded (i.e. the ones with orange walls). Is this true?

We haven't been there yet - this is just my assumption from talking to the management and looking at pics online. We chose room 9 because it looked to be updated and were told that it had a new split a/c unit.
